Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects, ensuring the successful delivery of specified products and services within agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgets as per contractual obligations. Additionally, the role ensures MMT's rights and responsibilities within the contract are upheld.

• Serve as the project integrator during the final sales phase, receiving a handover of the sales budget and project scope, and establishing a project budget.

• Lead project teams by forming relevant groups based on project needs, defining responsibilities, delegating tasks where applicable, and fostering engagement and collaboration.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, authorities, and other stakeholders, independently executing or participating in negotiations with customers and suppliers while maintaining strong relationships.

Develop and maintain the overall project plan to guide execution and communication by:

• Prioritising tasks and activities.
• Aligning sub-plans with the overall project plan.
• Delegating responsibilities with clear expectations.
• Ensuring contract compliance with MMT’s rights and responsibilities

Manage project budgets by:

•   Prioritising tasks and activities.

• Aligning sub-plans with the overall project plan.
• Delegating responsibilities with clear expectations.
• Ensuring contract compliance with MMT’s rights and responsibilities

• Participate in manufacturing visits, testing activities, and system commissioning when required.

• Initiate and oversee project handovers to the warranty phase.

• Proactively identify, propose, and lead internal development projects or process improvements.

• Higher technical education within relevant field (MSc/BSc in Engineering).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the maritime or a relevant industry.
• Proven expertise in technical project management, design, and construction of complex projects.
• Strong experience in contract negotiations.
• Ability to manage multiple contact areas and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership.
